Delivery ceremony of CSS Airbus A320 Level D FFS with Simaero in Paris aviation training facility

Paris, France — December 8, 2025 — China Simulation Sciences Co., Ltd. (CSS) today announced the successful delivery of its Airbus A320 Level D Full Flight Simulator (FFS) to its strategic partner Simaero in Paris, France. The simulator has officially entered commercial operation at Simaero’s Paris CDG Training Center–Carole and successfully passed the Level D certification by the French Directorate General for Civil Aviation (DGAC) in November 2025.

This marks CSS’s first delivery of a Level D full flight simulator in Europe, and significantly, the first China-manufactured full flight simulator ever to enter the European market. The achievement stems from CSS’s sustained commitment to aligning with international certification standards. In June 2024, CSS obtained Level D qualification from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), establishing a comprehensive R&D and certification system for Level D simulators and laying a solid foundation for deeper integration into the global aviation training ecosystem.

Founded on the core philosophy of “Autonomous Software, Liberal Data, Unlimited Applications”, China Simulation Sciences is a leading Chinese manufacturer of full flight simulators under Juneyao Group, dedicated to delivering high-standard simulation solutions—including data-driven applications—for global flight training and industrial simulation markets.

Mr. Guangping Ji, Chairman of China Simulation Sciences, stated:

“This delivery represents not only CSS’s first Level D FFS to enter the European market, but also the second CSS simulator received by Simaero—demonstrating the strong trust international customers place in high-end Chinese aviation technology. The simulator’s successful qualification by DGAC shows that CSS’s flight simulation capabilities have reached world-class standards. We look forward to further deepening Sino-French cooperation in aviation training and to providing global customers with more reliable and efficient training solutions.”

Simaero, headquartered in France, is a world-leading provider of pilot training on full-flight simulators and simulation engineering solutions, operating five training centers worldwide and multiple wholly owned and joint-venture training enterprises in China. As a key strategic partner of CSS, Simaero will leverage the newly delivered device to provide high-standard A320 type-rating training to European airlines and pilots.

Nicolas Mouté, Chief Executive Officer of Simaero, commented:

“The arrival of the Airbus A320 neo/ceo Level D Full Flight Simulator at our Paris CDG Training Center marks a significant milestone for Simaero and our partnership with China Simulation Sciences. This achievement reflects our shared commitment to delivering world-class training solutions. We are proud to be the first in Europe to operate a China-manufactured Level D simulator and look forward to continued collaboration with CSS that will drive innovation and excellence in aviation training.”

From contract signing to R&D and manufacturing, cross-border logistics, local installation, and ultimately DGAC regulatory qualification, the project exemplifies the exceptional execution capabilities and seamless collaboration between the two partners, setting a benchmark for efficient and trust-based cooperation in high-end aviation manufacturing and technical services between China and France.
