CSS, the first domestic complete independent intellectual property rights simulator delivery

In mid-2017, a project code-named "S" was quietly launched by Junyao Group, which was known to everyone as the key project for the technological transformation of Junyao Group.

On September 29, 2020, CSS A320 flight simulators, including both NEO and CEO configurations, successfully obtained Level D certification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), which is the highest level of certification

CSS possesses the complete intellectual property rights for the Level D simulators certified this time, including all software source codes, technical documents, electrical design, structural design, and related documentation. This marks that CSS has acquired all capabilities for independently developing Level D simulators.

This is a flight simulator made by Chinese people, filling a technical gap in the Chinese training equipment manufacturing industry and breaking through international technical barriers in this field. More importantly, from now on, China will have the capability to develop and support various types of simulator products based on this technology.

Unfortunately, despite the rise of Chinese made aircraft, the corresponding development of simulators remains a critical shortcoming.

The simulators certified this time is the first domestically developed, cutting-edge Level D simulators manufactured by CSS for the latest aircraft model, possessing complete, self-controlled intellectual property rights. This marks CSS leap into the ranks of manufacturers that develop and produce the world's highest-level flight simulators. Not only has CSS achieved the research, development, and production of the first domestically produced Level D Full Flight Simulator with independent intellectual property rights, but it can also cover all levels of flight simulators at a lower level. this includs fixed simulators, maintenance simulators, procedural trainers, and auxiliary teaching systems. CSS has filled the gap in the most important field of technology in the operational support segment of the aviation industrial chain, thus improving the civil aviation industrial chain.

Through CSS Level D Full Flight Simulator research, development, and production provides an essential piece of technology for China civil air transport industry. It not only enhances the reliability and economy of the equipment but also shortens lead times. Earlier on September 18, 2020, CSS successfully won the bid for the "Human-in-the-Loop Flight Simulation Test Platform - Real-time Simulation and Network Interface System" project for the ARJ series aircraft from the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute. This successful bid for the ARJ project will also spur CSS to further strengthen its research and development of flight simulation equipment for domestically produced aircraft, enriching its product portfolio in the field of civil aviation simulation. Currently, CSS Technology has established good collaborative relationships with aviation enterprises represented by COMAC and will actively provide Chinese produced civil aircraft simulators with self-controlled technology .
